Day 22. To Rock Springs, WY

Saturday, Sept 13th.
This was a busy day which started out with an appointment at Grand Junction Harley Davidson where we got an oil change for the bikes.
As soon as the bikes were done we hit the road and set off in a north westerly direction. We soon found ourselves meandering through some incredible scenery;

And then arrived at this small Colorado town;
 Where even the street names are in theme!
Unfortunately we did not have time to stop and do the whole dinosaur thing. This area is full of fossils and dinosaur bones and we would have loved to spend some time exploring but we needed to keep going to get to our destination for the night. We briefly passed back into Utah and then crossed into Wyoming.

We rode alongside the Flaming Gorge reservoir for a while,

Before we knew it we were riding across the high plains of Wyoming. We saw wild horses and were warned to look out for Big Horn Sheep and Cougars!
We didn't see any Cougars but did come across this lovely collection of classic cars which were presumably on some sort of tour together.

After a wonderful day, riding in the sunshine and through some amazing countryside we arrived at Rock Springs, Wyoming.
