Day 25. California!

We made it! This is as far West as we can go - the Pacific Coast of Northern California. Another beautiful day weather wise and an amazing ride down from Crater Lake through the Southwest corner of Oregon. We stopped at one last town in Oregon to post some postcards and found the most curious rest stop yet!

After passing uneventfully (not even a welcome to... sign) into California we joined the Redwood Highway and started seeing some very big trees!

After a bit more riding we ran into some fog and finally got a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean!

Further down the coast the fog had lifted and we had a real view of the ocean:

We feel quite proud of ourselves to have come all this way: 5,345.8 in 25 days. We do get comments and questions nearly all the time when passersby see our license plates. Most cannot believe that we have ridden all this way. We can scarcely believe it ourselves! Now we just have to get back!!!
